There are good and bad people in both professions...which is more honorable? I don't know because some attorney's will help you, some won't. Some used car salemen will work with you on a price and payment plan so that you can have a car to get to work with, some won't. So I don't think either is more or less honorable than the other, only the people that are in those professions. Romanceluvr aka Monkey |

I don't stereotype people. Some lawyers are good. Some lawyers are bad. The same goes for used car salesmen. No matter what profession you look at, not all of them are going to be completely despicable, nor will all of them be angels. |

I think used car salesmen are worse their usually lying to you about the car and cheat you out of ur money - lawyers on the other hand try make justice happen. (unless being paid more to cheat justice) |

No, not at all, Hugo. To be honest, I despise those in my profession that lie, cheat, and steal, primarily because they force the malpractice insurance up for the rest of us that are honourable. I am happy to say, though, that for every rotten lawyer I know, there are about 10 good ones. <glock> |

I believe that their are good and bad people in both. I have one uncle who is a car salesman. He is one of the nicest people you could know. Then I have another uncle who is a lawyer. A real good one but at the same time one of the most stuck up people you could ever meet. |

Well, a used car salesperson doesn't bill you $200 an hour to talk to them or a $1 per page to make copies..... I'm kinda like Glock on this one, I worked for a law firm for many years, but now I work in Sales. With both professions, I can tell you there are some that genuinely want to help you and then there are some that are trying to put the screws to you. I can also tell you there are times that stuff just happens. ie, the intentions were honorable, but something just happened. I do however think the Lawyer jokes are funnier --- Ed --- |
