I believe fear is a natural reaction to something that you believe may hurt you --either physically, mentally or emotionally. I have been scared MANY times from many different things. All are equally frightening at the time, yet most fears can be calmly and rationally "dispelled." Some, since they are of unknown/uncertain origin we are never able to dismiss. I still, at times, fear calm dark nights if left alone w/o something to do. --Paranoid--  |

To me fear comes from within a person who has had a traumatic or terrifying experience in their past and even though you'll go through life, thinking nothing can scare after your past tragedy, something will always happen or suddenly happen that will trigger that fear. I never go out at night unless I'm with your dad. I dislike going anyplace by myself,but don't have a choice. Destiny4  |
