Anyone ever sold their home?

I am seriously concidering selling my home. Its a tiny house but I have quite a bit of equity in it, owning it for 18 years and concidering the Town I live in.I am not planning on buying another, this one has taken its toll as it is on my finances, being single and all.I am tring to weigh the pro's and cons of it here. I would have to rent which seems cheaper in the long run. I would pay off all my bills not a whole lot but enough, and have a nice nest egg for while, since I will still work. But haveing to move around and putting my children through that would be tough. But,I could better give them what they need should I sell, such as their own rooms,I have a boy and girl,8 and 11. They want a bigger home more than I.I would be finantially secure for the first time since my divorce and hear now is the time to sell, but hard to find a rental! What to do! Any sugestions? I am kinda asking (Should I stay or should I sell?)

Date: 6/23/2001 4:54:00 PM  From Authorid: 30621    I just sold mine in Texas. The taxes were killing me,and I had no money for the repairs. I'm a lot happier now that I rent. My childrens bedrooms are not as big, but at least now I can afford a bed to go in the ones they have. It's tough bein a home owner. In all honesty, it was the best thing I could have ever done. I was what they call very land poor. luvs...SOMEDAY
