TRUE STORY--Monster In The Closet!!!!!!!!

This is a true story I saw on the show Fact or Fiction. (they tell you 5 stories, some of which are true and some are false, you guess which ones are true and false, and they tell you the answers at the end) But anyway...

There was a boy named Josh about 12 years old who was terrifed of his closet. He told his family there was a monster in there, but of course, they didn't believe him. They just assumed that even though Josh was a little too old to be worrying about monsters in the closet, it was a normal little kid phase and that he would get over it.

Josh's older brother Chris would always tease him about his fear of the closet. One day Chris had some friends over, and when Josh got home from school they decided it would be funny to lock him in the closet he was so terrified of.

So Chris and his buddies went into Josh's room and before he could stop them, they grabbed him up, shoved him in the closet, and locked the door. Josh was screaming and crying and pounding on the door, screaming that the monster was going to get him. They all just laughed.

After a couple minutes, the pounding and screaming from the closet stopped abruptly. All was quiet. The kids thought Josh was trying to play a joke on THEM now, so they opened the door...and Josh was nowhere to be found. They searched the entire closet up and down--nothing.

Of course Chris ran and got his parents, who also looked through the closet, growing more and more panicked and frustrated, because he simply was not there. Eventually they called the police, and soon hired people to tear the entire closet apart. There was no evidence that anyone had even been in the closet...Josh had disappeared without a trace and still hasn't been found to this day.

It was probably the first time I realized that not everything can be explained by science.
