As I watch u lay there sleeping
a million thoughts run through my mind,
Watching you breath,
thinking about how much more time
that I have left with you.

They told me that they'll probably be coming,
Coming to take u away from me,
but this is something I dont want to see,
I miss you so much and ur not even gone,
I guess I'm just a broken heart hanging on to
a soul thats moving on.

I was told that I might not get to see ur sweet face,
I was told you were going to a better place,
A place with green patures and golden streams,
A place that only we can dream.
Just watching you makes me miss you
and ur not even gone,
I guess I'm just another broken heart holding on

I was told that in that place you'll feel no pain,
You'll actually have fun playing in the rain.
You'll get to have all you want you'll see,
But dont waste ur time missing me.
Dont let that be,
Just leave it up to me.

I was told that this was the right thing to do,
and that I should say goodbye to you.
Because in this place you'll be brand new.
But nobody ever told me about the tears I would cry,
nobody ever told me about me having to say goodbye.
Nobody told me about the broken heart I 've recieve,
Nobody ever thought to tell me.

I'm the one who has to let go,
I'm the one with the pain to show.
I'm the one who cry those tears,
I'm the one who fears.
I am the one who is going to be missing you for years.

Its hard to let you go,
because you sent my heart a glow,
and I'll be missing you more then you'll ever know.
But just close ur eyes,

Let my touch be the last you feel,
Help it to be easy for me to deal with reality,
