LOL, Gail, I'm a "working person" too, and I was gonna say I don't think I could afford 4 more years of all the give away programs of the Democrats. When you take money from those who do work and give it to those who can work but won't work, that is just plain wrong in my opinion. I vote Republican!  |

the democrat is more domestic. and republican is more stronger in preparing for war, and winning battles.none are better than the other, they both should stick together as a team and work together, because I find it really dumd that we are competing against one another, we are supposed to stand togeter as a country, to be proud and strong. back each other up, instead of running against one another. Ahhhhhhh.... you are right about money going to those who dont work, nothing is perfect... BUT the clincher here is that Democrats are for the "people", low class income and middle class income. Jobs are easier to get, money can be made, people can survive. Republicans are for the BIG BUSINESS... "big brother syndrome", All the breaks will go to them, and we get the shaft, lay-offs almost always quadruples under a Republican party Pres... and the FAT cats keep getting fatter... Unions, who are for the people, as much as they possibly can be, are usually democrat because it can keep its members working, not in an unemployment line... I also agree with Speed, wouldnt it be nice to have the BEST of both, all working together????? My opinions.. |

I am liberal in my views of personal life choices. ie gay/straight, married with children/single parents, Christian/other. I am more conservative with other issues. ie gun rights, abortion, death penalty, etc. Since I know people are going to continue to live their personal life choices regardless of who is in power, I tend to vote Republican. Not always though. I refuse to answer who is better because it all depends on what is more important to the individual. An example. To an elderly person, Gore would have been a better choice because he had the "quick fix". However, the "quick fix" won't have lasting effects. Since I am a young mother of three very young children, I look for what would be best in the long run. The slower, steadier, more reliable process. ~Jetamio~  |
