I used to think
you'd be there for me,
that no matter the problem
there you'd be.
I never knew
I could be so wrong,
or to figure it out
could take so long.
For seventeen years
I've wasted away,
thinking that things
would get better someday.
And yet, our life
has changed somewhat,
for the amount of time
it's worth it not.
I wish you would notice,
that you'd try to see
because if you don't
you'll end up losing me.
Yet I often wonder,
if thats what you seek,
but to admit it
your just too weak....
