That sounds cool. I love animals and to think of helping out somewhere that they are allowing these animals to live out their lives if need be sounds wonderful. I do not at this point in my life have the time to do it but I think I will make a vow now, to do it at some point. Thank you for this post. : )  |

Some shelters only hire 18 years old and older volunteers, because of insurance regulations (something like that)..most shelters allow people of any age.  |

I love that you do that I love to go help animals, they are so in need of a friend and someone to love,I lost my 3 cats in a house fire, really sad. I hate to think of it. I love all animals with all my heart, I always wanted to be a vet. When I visit the shelters, I leave almost crying because I want to take them all home. nice story. Speed  |
