Date: 6/13/2001 10:03:00 PM From Authorid: 30742 There is no such thing as a past life. In order to find one out you basically are opening yourself up to demonic spirits. Hypnosis or meditation, vizulation, ect is normally how you can draw into demonic spirits to " guide your mind" into beleieving you had a past life. Put your trust in Jesus Christ who loves you and will give you an abundant life. When you place your trust in the death of Jesus to save your soul, you will spend eternity in heaven. " For God so loved the world that he sent his one and only son that who so ever beleives in him shall not perish, but will have everlasting life". John 3;16 ms morality |
Date: 6/13/2001 11:14:00 PM From Authorid: 24813 I guess I'll respond halfway between the first two statements.... If you're curious about the issue, then go ahead and look into it. But be careful not to blindly accept whatever you might see. Often times, in conciously thinking about and hoping for a past life, you might come up with ideas about what that past life might be. Under hypnosis, you might just pull up recollections of those ideas, and the hypnotist, in encouraging you to describe them, might inadvertantly plant false memories of a similar sounding past life. I am also curious about the concept, and have done lots of thinking and hypothesising for the fun of it, but I'm hesitant to delve more deeply into it, for fear that I might "remember" things that are only a product of my own imagination. I'd rather let my dreams take care of it, and just see what comes. - Gecko |
