honestly the best thing to do is delete it. don't even click to open it. the companies use a one time email and spam a bunch of people. you can try to block the sender but it doesn't matter. If you reply they simply know that is a valid email and you don't want that. if you try to reply like telling them to stop the email will most likely be returned..i hate them too but the best is just to delete them and hopefully soon some laws will be in affect to stop this..  |

Unfortunately spam mail exists. They get your sn when you go into chat and also from other online businesses who sell your sn. The only way to stop recieving them, to my knowledge, is to block your email and only allow those you list to be able to write you. If you have AOL you can find this on preferences. Good luck!! Yes, it makes me exttremely angry when that happens. Those worthless ppl have no right to assult me w/ their trash.What do I do? I send them virii everytime.That way they will have no operating system left to ever spread their fitlh to the world.  |

I have never subscribed to any of that stuff. I have tried so many times to block them and when I do it seems like I get more. Most of them are the stupid NAKED CELEBS things. I am sick of them. I get more of those than I get real email! Thanks for the replies ~DaisyDolly~  |

You can do this on hotmail, too. My suggestion would be to take your e-mail address, and start a new address on another e-mail site, put in the blockers, and put everyone's name in your address book, and let them know of your changed address. <glock>  |

Maybe try to block the sender? if you have hotmail you should be able to. Or there should be an unsuscribe thing in the e-mails you get. Someone probally put your addy in there, *shakes head* people are different i guess.  |

errr, I so know what you mean I ultimately just ditched that address and set up a new account...blocking doesn't do much good, you reach your limit of blocked addresses very quickly. that was the first thing I tried. it's sick...I have no idea how they got my address....I think I was the unfortunate victim of an email hacker to be completely honest with you...*sigh* So I'd just sign up a new account. good luck  |

With most E-Mail programs you can actually "block" e-mail from certain senders. But you need to have their exact addy i.e. [email protected]. Try looking up help or options in your e-mail program and you should be able to find out how to do this. Take Care,  |

yea i get a lot of those too...i don't check my email in less than a week and i get about forty emails and they are annoying as ever..i either block the sender which is something you can do it's one of the buttons there or you email them back and give them a threat which also works too! LOL   |

you have to set your mail preferences to block all unwanted to mail. Go in and create a list of people that you will accept mail from. This happens from going into chat rooms. They see your screen name on AOL and they know that you have aol mail through that name. That is how they get your e-mail. You don't have to subscribe to anything  |

My daughter also began getting these horrible pornographic emails.She went to a chat on a certain celebrity and all of a sudden they started popping up.I just went to unsubscribe and we haven't gotten any since.She was really upset as was I.At the bottom of the email there is an unsubscribe address,we also did change her screen name... Its horrible but they will find you and send you this awful stuff when you least expect it. Good Luck,  |
