Enmeshed in a throng, moving slow in its hold realized before long there's a fear uncontrolled;
A feeling of choking and need of fresh air my brow begins soaking from the sweat off my hair.
We're shoulder-to-shoulder with no hole in sight my blood's running colder with the crowd packed so tight-
A panic attack! and my heart's skipping beats! Is there no turning back? I must leave the streets!
Now dizzy from gasping I fall to the ground and black out while grasping a curious sound;
I've always been mellow and calm, as a rule... <<<KNOCK, KNOCK!!!>>> "Wake up, little fellow- and get ready for school!"
NOTE TO READERS: This poem is not intended to offend those who suffer from claustrophobia &/or panic attacks-I'm merely declaring my freedom from these long-term conditions after having beaten them through forced encounters. The conditions, to me have been reduced to nothing more than a bad dream...
