I wish I could cut out my tongue
And chop off all my hair
Sit way back in the corner
You wouldn't notice me there.
I wish I would just melt away
Till there's nothing left at all
And then I wouldn't be around
To give you names to call.
If I just disappeared
Not just within myself
You would be happier by far
The family to yourself.
Then when things don't seem right
Or things start going wrong
I wouldn't be the one around
For you to blame it on.
If I could just disappear
Just withdraw from life
Everyone would be happy
With a new mother and wife.
The only thing that keeps me here
