Date: 5/25/2001 7:43:00 AM From Authorid: 160 Dear Geez! Welcome to the world of computers, I think they must pay people a lot of money to stay up at night and think of error messages that drive us users crazzy! You may have corrupt files in there somewhere, and have to delete windows and re-install. Thats what the guy at circuit city told me. But he said that if the problem isn't to bad and I can live with it then leave it alone, I get that error message occasionally not often enough to go through major changes. besides I dont know how to do it and am afraid of my computer, well at least I have a healty respect for it! |
Date: 5/25/2001 8:14:00 AM From Authorid: 27360 that usually means that something else that is running is fighting for the memory space, try this and see if it works, press alt ctrl and delete at the same time and a box will pop up it shows all the programs that are running, you can end task some of those just dont end task explorer or anything that ends in ...tray especially systray.....you can also go to smartcomputing.com its a pretty good site to go for answers.....el toro |
