Can any one exsplaine Deja vu to me? I mean, like what causes it? Is it a psychic exsperience, a dream, or what? I once heard that your mind slows down for a moment while your body continues on.Any one know, or have a theory? Madam Destiny

Date: 5/18/2001 4:06:00 AM  From Authorid: 21209    where u feel u have seen the exact thing before, e.g: walking down a street and a man walks past and u stop. cos that happened last week! but it didn`t.....sorry if its a bit vague...but thats it
Date: 5/18/2001 4:31:00 AM  From Authorid: 582    I believe in Deja Vu myself, mainly because I believe in past lives The people we draw to us in this life we've drawn to us in our past lives too. Have you ever just met someone, but you swear you met them before or maybe you are instantly comfortable with them? Anyway, that's my theory.
Date: 5/18/2001 5:13:00 AM  From Authorid: 36454    Chelle.....I hope you are wrong about that! I have meet lots of people in "this life" that i would hope to NEVER meet again!!!! LOL
Date: 5/18/2001 6:11:00 AM  From Authorid: 35821    I understand that deja vu, is from a past life possibly, you know you never have been there in this lifetime. So things seem to look familiar from an unconcious mind. Also I believe that deja vu comes from your dreams, you remember it somewhere but are totally unsure, I believe that too! There was times that I thought I dreamt something before, but just not sure.

Date: 5/18/2001 6:21:00 AM  From Authorid: 582    LOL. Too funny, but I also believe we have spirit guides (the people we drawl to ourselves throughout our lives), those who come here to Earth to help us to experience certain things whether good or bad. But the spirit beneath is always loving. We just forget that part...smiles.
Date: 5/18/2001 6:56:00 AM  From Authorid: 15823    Been there, done it, bought the T-shirt ... now that's deja vu.
Date: 5/18/2001 7:12:00 AM  From Authorid: 33745    Deja Vu is like experiencing something in the
present that you you have seen or done in the past.
For instance, my Deja Vu experiences often happen
in dreams - I dream about something and about a
week or so later I experience it. It's weird
because when it is happening I am like wow I know
what is going to happen because I have seen this
before. *Queen of Hearts*
Date: 5/18/2001 7:13:00 AM  From Authorid: 34341    It's strange. Sometimes I'll be doing something incidental, like sitting at the table reading the morning paper. Someone will say something, and I get this strange feeling and realize at the same time, hey, I dreamed this! Sure enough I had, but it was such a small, insignificant episode that my memory up to that point had merely filed it away in my subconscious, so that I couldn't remember dreaming it the morning after. I never remember dreaming it until it happens. Usually, the time differential is under two weeks. Is that deja vous? <glock>
Date: 5/18/2001 8:35:00 AM  From Authorid: 34361    When I was growing up I would have really strange dreams, the same one over and over sometimes for months. But they never made any sence to me. They seemed stupid! Then, weeks, and in some cases years later, the dream would actually happen and I would remember it! This is my experience with Deja Vu. In my case it is a type of prophysing...

Date: 5/18/2001 3:41:00 PM  From Authorid: 35085    Deja Vu occurs when you are around something or somewhere that closely resembles a place you have been before. You may or may not remember this place or surroundings. Your brain is like a file cabinet, there's stuff in there that you don't even remember keeping, lol. When you are in an area such as this, certain brain waves are triggered, but are unable to clearly recognize or take in the event occuring, which gives you that feeling of being there before. If you believe in past lives and stuff like that, you could have come upon an area where you had visited before in another liftime...Does that help at all?
Date: 5/18/2001 5:10:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 36046    Thanks! That does help..a great deal!

Date: 5/20/2001 12:44:00 PM  From Authorid: 36511    Wow, i always have deja vu....but its like something happens and i can -almost- remember dreaming about it...its a strange feeling because i feel soo sooo close to remembering dreaming the same thing happening!--wolf girl howlerz
Date: 5/22/2001 11:56:00 AM  From Authorid: 36228    I have a Deja Vu alot though sometimes things change a bit. Let me tell you a story. I am a mom of four. I was cleaning my entrance way about a month ago. Well I seen and felt something I have never experienced before and hope and pray NEVER happens to me losing my kids to the state. I am an excellent mother have had lots of people tell me so even the state.
Date: 5/22/2001 4:43:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 36046    That would be a terrible vision! I also, have four kids. I sure hope it dosen't mean anything! I'm sure it dosen't, but, it would be enough to freak one out!-Madam Destiny-
