God is known to be good throughout the ages, without a doubt, but, satan will tell people that don't know anybetter that he's the good one, and God tries to make slaves of his children... I truly disagree with the "God enslaving possibility." I do understand that this whole issue is confusing. Satan is only evil now because he is a fallen angel. Satan wanted to be better and bigger then God and this was his punishment, banishment from Heaven. I can see why. God doesn't owe us a thing, we on the other hand owe him everything. My old boyfriend said he would believe in God if he showed himself to him. I laughed and said "wow, how vain is that." If you want to know if God is good and would like to feel his presence, then take a minute to talk to him. You probably won't get a verbal answer but somewhere down the line you'll understand. I don't know my friend. America is good, yet it condemns communism. Isn't it possible that God simply DOES know what is best? At any rate, God created a universe with his spoken word, he doesn't need to create slaves, he already can do anything! As far as your portrayal of Satan as some sort of liberator you are on dangerous ground here. I would rather be in bondage to God (who doesn't NEED me he WANTS me) than to Satan whose purpose it is to decieve and twist things around. Keep thinking though and ask God for wisdom, discernment and a sound mind |

Most of you aren't getting it (and thank you all of you who do for the opened mind) I am NOT a bible thumper, I do not believe god is all that good. If he's so good then how come nice people like my aunt get MS, or austioperosis, or any other desieses. It's because god loves us all, right? OF COUSE!!! It's satan! well if god's all powerful, then why doesn't he stop him,, That's right!! He can't! so he's not all powerful after all!! Well if he's not all powerful, then how will he get powerful? oh! Getting people to do things for him. (It works for the government) |

GOD is in GOoD EVIL is in the dEVIL satan was an angel of GOD that went bad. GOD gives everyone life isn't that enough. what more could someone ask for. when life is given oppotnity is opened, GOD just tests his creations to see if they believe are not. Can you pass the test? SAY a PRAYER AND GOD WILL ANSWER YOU IN A PHENOMINAL WAY. he sees that you are confused, so just give him a chace. I promise it will be the best chance that you ever took. REMEMBER THIS: THE GOOD ALWAYS PREVAILS OVER THE EVIL. GOD loves you and forgives you for any sins that you have commited. This is why his SON (JESUS CHRIST) died on the cross so all of our sins shall be forgiven. I am 19 years of age and I used to be confuse also until I realized my purpose on this earth. You have a purpose also. you shall realize oneday and GOD will guide you. He will believe in you always. |

Hell will be living with the misery of your failure to achieve your full potential. Look within yourself and become what you know you can and when you meet your maker He will know you tried and I beleive He will help us continue to develop until we become what we were created to become. I don't think that it would make sense to give us our freedom to become slaves.He could have just created slaves if that's what He wanted. I believe that we will become a part of something bigger and better than the human imagination can fathom. I look forward to developing myself so that I can take my place as a spoke in this "cosmic wheel". |

Without the freedom to choose our own paths we would not be able to learn for ourselves. I beleive that although God is all powerful he lives by the laws of physics and nature and is able to control these to an awesome degree that we could not comprehend. I know you are an atheist and respect that, but you should respect others opinions also. I think that the bible thumpers are missing the point also. Read the old testament and you see that God is forced to love his people from a distance (I beleive for their own good) |

This whole thing isn't about me though, I just wanted to tell people this "neat" theory I came up with in English Literature class one day. It isn't what I believe, but some people are mistaking it for my religion, and all the "you should love god" is starting to anger me. (plus, I do try to not rag on other people's opinions, I'm just not used to it. People always put down my opinions and beliefs.) |

I didn't know your beliefs because they weren't stated up front but I respect your theories. It isn't that God condemn those don't listen to him, it is because we can't accept him through this way b/c when we're born, we have sins 'cus Jesus die for us!! And if God wants us to be his slave, he would just do it, i mean he is soo powerful!! he wouldn't have waste so much time teaching us bringing miracles ot our life.
