We could turn this into a debate. But, I agree with you. The governments of the world have been sloppy with new technologies. Like nuclear weapons and the such. I hope they never will use this for destruction also. |

I'm afraid they are whacked, I mean, truly mentally ill. All we can do is hope to God that they fail and pray for it. Free Girl |

Hi! They cloned that lamb and it didn't come out as a monster. And other animals in fact so I think it's possible for them to clone a normal human. What I don't get about cloning and how it goes against ethical religious standards is b/c people have been interfering with human "nature" for a while now - whether it's form laser eye sugery, embryo implantation, wearing eyeglasses, to surgery etc.. So why is cloning evil and not these other ones? Even embryo implantation and artificial semination are also practices that interfere w/ natural "creation" and even contraceptives. ~XxSuaveoO~ |

I believe that you are right about the cloning of human beings. But I do believe in the research for other reasons. For example for burn victims. If they can clone tissue(which I believe that they already are achieving in labs) I think this would be very beneficial. Unfortuantly, we are human and with the society that we have always been....it boils down to money. The higher ups (as I call them) are greedy. So long as there is a bigger profit to be made that's what they'll do. Sad but true. |

I agree that regardless of the arguments for enhancing human technology; cloning will do more harm then good. I feel some things should be left along. I don't see any good reasons for clong humans. I see good reason to clone human organs but that is all. |

i think cloning humans is a big mistake.I dread the thought of what these clones will go through when they realize where they come from....lynn112 |
