Love's Meanings

Love,
Quick, boring, depressing,
Love,
Long committing, future,
Love is a strong word,
What does it mean?
Love means many things,
Talking to your sister,
Mom putting a Band-Aid on your blister,
Learning football from your older brother,
The way your mom and dad kiss each other,
Your first girlfriend,
Your first boyfriend,
Grandma wanting to spend money on you,
Auntie buying you shoes,
Grandpa taking you to Dairy Queen,
Brother or sister being mean,
When your boyfriend knows when to sray away,
How your girlfriend knows just what to say,
When your bestfriend calls and everything is OK,
The way your cousin wants to play,
The reason your parents cant let go,
Why your sister will actually play with you in the snow,
The way it hurts when a loved one dies,
The way your mom dries your eyes,
When you have to move to another town,
Only love is what keeps you down,
The reason you miss all your friends,
The reason you want or don't want life to end,
The way you feel when a loved one's hurt,
ANd how you cant do anything makes you feel liek dirt,
When your grandma makes you hot cocoa,
Why your dad specially cuts your tomatoes,
How you want to find the perfect present,
How you want to care for someone who deoesn't,
The reason your happy for your friend,
When it was always somthing you wanted to do in the end,
The reason God gave us life,
The thing between a husband and wife,
The reason you cant tell that guy how you feel,
Or that girl that it's real,
The reason to people haven't talked for so long,
Don't worry, its still there, it's not all gone,
What a person may not feel for themself,
What a person may feel too much of and not for anyone else,
Love means many things,
Now there's an idea of what it means,
Love is a strong word,
Bashful, wanted, unpredictable,
Love,
Intruding, daring, life,
Love.

This poem is somthing I wrote for a school project and was 1 of the best! I am so proud of it! It means a lot to me and how I feel about things, and this is the first poem where i jus couldnt stop writing, usually I have to sit and think for a while. Thanx for reading! ~D1am0nd0416~
