I don't know but I do know that talc polishes the lenses when they are scratched. It doesn't remove the scratches but it helps. Just put the powder on both sides rub it in lightly with your fingertips and then buff off with an old T-shirt (has to be soft fabric). Oh I usually blow off the excess before I rub with the T-shirt. whirlwn  |

I work at a Sunglass store, and there is no way to keep your glasses from getting scratches. try to keep them in a case as much as you can. Buy glasses with glass lenses like Ray Bans or Maui Jims. (They are expensive, but harder to scratch) Where I work we sell higher end sunglasses... 90$ and up... we have giorgio Armani suinglasses that are supposed to have some sort of coating on them that makes them more difficult to scratch, but they are like 290$... message me if you have any other questions!  |

By the way do not use your shirt to clean the lenses! There may be dirt or anything on the shirt that could scratch them. Use a cotten hankerchief or buy a cleaning cloth from a glasses store... |
