in a small town not to far from here. There is a small church, and one day the preacher comes walking up to the pulpit carrying an old rusty bird cage. the congregation looked on in wonder, curious why he brought this bird cage in. very softly at first the preacher began to speak.
"On my way to church today, i saw a small boy with a rusty old bird cage and in that cage were a couple of very raged looking birds. The boy had a small stick and he was poking at the birds threw the cage. As I aproached the boy looked up, I asked him what he had in the cage, and the boy looked at the cage and told me he had a couple of field birds. so i asked him what he was going to do with them the boy told me he was going to poke at them with the stick and make them fight he was going to have fun he was going to play with them. i asked him what he was going to do if the birds got tired of fighting he looked up and said he would probly killem or feed em to the cat. i asked him if i could buy them from him. the boy said "you dont want these birds mister there ugly and worn out. they dont even sing pretty" how much do you want i asked the boy . the boy looked at me for a moment and said ten dollars i said ok and paid the boy he grabbed the money and ran. i went to a nearby field and opened the cage door and set the birds free."
well that explains the bird cage thought the congregation but the preacher continued.
"this reminded me of another story. satan was standing above the earth one day when jesus came walking up. " what ya got there" jesus asked. satan looked up"ive caught myself a whole world of people". "what are ya going to do with them " jesus asked. "well im gonna teach them how to fight how to have wars. im gonna make em hate and be angry at each other, gonna teach them greed and lust." satan replied. "how much do you want for them" christ asked. satan smiled and said"you dont want these humans there mean they'll hurt you they'll make you bleed they'll crucify you". jesus said again"how much?" satan replied "all your blood and all your tears"
