as I think of you
"Your essence linger's
alive and true

I know,
"I still feel your presence
here all around
"I cannot see you, nor
do you make a sound,
"Those hugs you gave
they felt so good
"I'd give all I have
to see you again, I surely would"
"I see your face,everywhere
I turn,
"I almost forget your gone, then
I realize, and begin to yearn"
"All the talk's we used to have
we shared a wonderful bond
"Sadness fill's my heart, your out
of touch, and beyond,
"These day's are almost to much
to bear,
"I hope and pray you know
just how much I care
"I miss you so very much,
how I long for one more touch"
"I can still here the song you sang
that night
"You sang it with your heart and
soul"
"Where you abide in my heart
now seem's an empty hole
"You did everything you could
just to survive,
"You alway's joked, about still
being alive"
"You fought your addiction as
best you could
"You almost had it beat, I was
so sure you would,
"That one last high for old
time's sake,
Would be the one,for your
life, it would take"

"I cannot stand the thought
of you being alone
"NO, the angels are with you
helping you adjust,
"I have faith in the Universe
and in God I trust,
"Well" so long for now and
take care,
"One" day in the future
you'll walk with your loved
one's, for they will all be there"
