A hero will rise up in each war Fighting until his body id ful of scars For death will not be his fear It is when the conquerors are near
He fight for his country's sake Ruthless foes; he's willing to take Foes who'll take away freedom and life Stabbing hatred and anger like a knife
And in the battlefield his heart cries When one by one his loved one dies But he'd just keep on fighting Until freedom shall reign
But in the end the drums will start beating As the heart of the hero will stop singing And reaching his weak and weary hands up high His dreams of freedom have touched the sky
(This poem is dedicated to my grandfather who is a veteran soldier and all those heroes out there. Hope you would like it.)
