Where the moments are rare
for the colors to shine through
I find myself in deep thoughts
Often times reliving memories of you
You color my world like no other can
The grey skies clear, the birds sing
and butterflies flutter just like my heart
whenever to you my thoughts I turn
Each moment we share together
Makes my world light up so bright
I find it is to be with you that I yearn
So close that I hear your heart beat
Near as possible, no space between us
Each breath you take I want to feel
as you place a kiss against my skin
Living in a grey and shady world
I find myself when you are not here
Longing for your presence around me
Desiring the tenderness of your touch
as into your arms you draw me near
I want to see the sparkle in your eyes
when those loving words you say to me
Your lips I want to rest my fingers on
while tracing the words as your heart speaks
I want you to feel what is within my soul
as your closeness can only cause to reveal
With the lightest touch of my hand
I want to caress your body laying close to mine
Giving myself to you, allowing my love for you to feel
Living in a grey and shady world
I find is only temporary as I wait for you
Once you are here, my world changes
into something so beautiful words cannot describe
The depth of your caring and loving ways
shine through so brightly from within your soul
that the feelings I have for you no longer do I wish to hide
