I agree. As long as the reply isn't offensive and rude to ME personally, I leave it up. I don't just delete comments I disagree with because everyone has a right to their opinions.  |

I agree but some people can be rather rude and start name calling and stuff so to get rid of'em we delete'em. So some of the deleting comments are deleted b/c some people can just be straight out mean and hateful. AS far as debating comments I don't erase them I look at both points of view. I like to see what other people think about a certain subject.  Lemon  |

Ummm...I understand your point...but if it wasn't the write of the original author to delete comments we wouldn't have a delete button in the first place. I don't mind. I don't take it all that seriously. If someone deletes comments I figure they have a good personal reason for it. I don't really try to delve into what is going on. -Lady Nyx  |

I agree that everybody has a right to their own opinion but its how they state their opinion that decides if the comment stays or goes you can disagree with somebody without being mean and hateful at least you should be able to. I know that I only delete comments from my stories if people are trying to be hurtful or down right mean. If they just have a different opinion and can be nice about it then I have no problem. ...  |

i think that the only ones that are deleted are the ones that insult the post or says something inappropriate or nasty...if negative replies are deleted though then i would think that it's not fair because we have to hear both sides of the story or whatever but i think that the only ones that are deleted are the ones that are inappropriate for usm  |

If you ask people their opinions, you are not always get back 'warm and fuzzies' comments.It should be up to the creator of the post to decide what is or is not relevant to what he/she posted and if it stays.  |

well, as an admin I will try to say that we delete comments that don't comply with the rules. We dont think that comments that are name calling, rude, or malicious have a place here on the site It is written on the faq if you read it and I feel that the admins. were nice enough to give us this site that we should abide by thier wishes and rules |
