I dreamt it when I was 5, but I read it when I was 13!!!

I was 5 years old. I often had nightmares about ghosts, or other such things. But I had this recurring dream. I was lying in my bed, and I was facing the closet. The closet door started opening very slowly, then it flung itself open which revealed a fiery demon with glowing red eyes. I had that same dream over 10 times. Now I am older and more interested in the supernatural rather than being scared of it. I was walking through a bookstore, and I saw some Stephen King books, and I picked some up and read the backs. I picked up one called 'Cujo' and started reading the back. It exactly described the dreams I had had 8 years before!!!! I looked at when the book was published, and I saw that it was very close to the same time I was having those dreams.... Coincedence? You decide. I, for one, cannot.

How it changed my life:

I don't think I will ever read Cujo.

Date: 2/11/2001 8:13:00 PM  From Authorid: 18516    Freaky! I don't know what it could mean. I can understand the recurring dreams because I've had many recurring nightmares and I always wake up sweating. But what you described is pretty weird!!! Lemon
Date: 2/11/2001 9:48:00 PM  From Authorid: 25220    i'll tell ya right now that it has no connection. cujo is about a dog with the rabies from h***. i have seen something in my house that looks like the grim reaper, go read my story "black figure, demon?" and maybe you will get some insight on what to do. if not you can always email me and ask questions, i'll be glad to help...lol...viv29

Date: 2/14/2001 7:46:00 PM  From Authorid: 16216    the day i finished reading cujo, i saw the movie, book is much better, but in another line of topic, i was reading stephen king's IT, which had a clown by the name of Pennywise, in it. but whats weird is at the time i was reading it, my oldest son was then around 8 or 9 yrs old. he woke up screaming one nite of an evil clown trying to get into a vehicle with us sitting in front of our house. another weird thing that goes with this is....i never once talked to him about the book IT or even mentioned what was init.
Date: 2/19/2001 8:17:00 PM  From Authorid: 27398    It may be fate that you must defeat the grim reaper in your dreams!
Date: 2/19/2001 9:56:00 PM  From Authorid: 20296    CUJO is about a dog. a rabid dog, not a demon dog is it possible that maybe your parents had bought a copy of the book when you were younger and you had caught a glimps of the cover and then were so scared you dreamed about it??? like i said the book has nothing at all to do with demon dogs, but it is scary
Date: 2/19/2001 9:59:00 PM  From Authorid: 20296    the dog was not from hell, he was just a normal saint bernard dog that got rabbies from a squirrel geez, peepsLOL everything doesnt have to be a demon. i am sorry that you, the author were so scared. as a little girl, i thought my dolls would come alive and eat me. it was because i saw a peepk at a scary movie about dolls once it was just a peek too, enough to freak me out for quite a while too but now i know, dolls do not eat peeps.....i thinkLOL
Date: 2/27/2001 1:29:00 PM  From Authorid: 17290    WHOA that's creapy, hey i think you have a point, if you are into the supernatural and paranormal stuff, you are not afraid of it, (cause you know what it is you are seeing and you believe in it) - if that's what you meant-----
Date: 12/14/2001 11:27:00 PM  From Authorid: 32766    books really cool... You'd like it. Try reading it. I've read almost all of his books. And I'm in the SKLibrary. Lots of Love Sweet&Sassy
