I have numerous poetry on here and some had better response than others. I agree with you but poetry has an acquired taste and not everyone likes it. That's just my opinion. I am happy for the responses that I do get though.  |

I do agree that not a lot of poems get read but it's hard to read everyone of them, i found that there was more poetry than anything else and it is hard to keep! And i rather jokes because they cheer me up when i'm bored but poems are just not one of my interests! Sorry! *sweet honey*  |

i agree with you. my fave subjects are the truly mysterious, but there are much more postings on jokes and things. still the fact that you can write about almost anything, makes this a great site! |

This happens to all of us. I post peotry and debates, and my poetry barely gets responses. But I understand that not everybody reads poetry and not everyone knows how to comment on poetry. The one sincere reply I get to at least every poem, keeps me going.  |

I understand Sweetie, but some people are just not into poetry to much, and then there are those that really are, everyone's taste is different, but Hun, don't get discouraged, it is true if I get one good reply I am honored and I mean that from my heart, I agree we all need encouragement, but maybe we need to look inside ourselve's and be proud of what we do, and stop looking outside for everyone else's opinion, I do not mean to offend in anyway, I just know I felt that in the beginning, and I learned that I had to believe in myself and if I wanted to write poetry, then I would look at it as an enjoyment, I hope this didn't offend dear, I just wanted to help much love to you jollee  |
