I gotta agree with linda on this one, how many of the main tv shows currently in the top network spots have any people of color on them?......im having a hard time thinking of any......from what i can tell, theres BET, the channel with the people speaking spanish...and the other 50 or so that are pretty white......Profiler Jack |

it really doesn't matter to me, you're going to see the black race everywhere you go and that doesn't bother me at all, the way i am i don't care if you're pink with purple polka dots as long as you don't stick your nose in my business and you show me the respect that i deserve. i wish people would stop judging everyone by their color enough is enough. How many people are aware that the show "Friends" is being forced to have a black person make an appearance on the show? But, it's okay to have an all black channel (BET), but not okay to have a show with all white people on it. Hmmmm.....WHat do you think???  |

Yes, there are all white shows, I mentioned one right above you. But, does a channel exist where there is "all" white shows? The answer is no. And I'm quite sure if there was the person who created it would be labeled a racist. |

I think that Bet is wrong. It is a good show but it seperates blacks from whites once again. If people want to be treated equal they shouldn't set themselves so much apart from other races. Having a WET would be thought as a racist show because of the KKK but it wouldn't really be racist just segregated. Its dumb to want equality then seperate yourselfs from you equal man or woman. I think the show is good but the name should be changed, to stop the segregation that is still often used. If the show was renamed poeple would not have a doubt in their head that there is any differnce between races. Kids that see the bet channel are filled with a confusion; the show is telling them that there is a difference between people and that black people should have their own channel and white people should have theirs. I truely beleive that this show should continue to run but not as just a Black Entertainment channel. That is all. |
