hell hounds

Heres another story from me. I heard this one on a trail ride. there are two endings to this story.

My aunt owns a ranch/stable she has about 20 acres of land. and there was a house on the last couple acres of the land. when she was a kid and the land belonged to her granddad. An old man named Walter Brue rented that house.

Now walter was a loon and he loved hog hunting. He even had his own breed of hound that he raised himself, some sort of great dane/mastiff/wolfhound, all in all a totally massive dog.

Well the dogs started causing problems around the town, they were nicknamed the hell hounds cause they cause they caused so much hell. They killed horses and cows and were even blamed for the death of a group of kindergardeners that were lost and never found the only evidence was some blood in the sand of thier sandbox. {And years later they found some jumpers and ripped up dresses inold man brues closets.}

The reason that the dogs acted like that was that he thought that if he starved the dogs that made them better hunters. After the town told him to get rid of the dogs, he decided to lock them up in a barn he had. He continued to starve the dogs. to keep them hanging on to life he would drop 2 pigs into a pit he dug adjacent to the basement under a section of the barn. he would raise a little door and push the pigs in with sticks. At this time he had about 24 dogs.

the story goes on to say that a group of teenagers( including my aunt) were dared to go to the place to see if the storys of the hounds in the barn were true. one of the guys "accidentilly" caught the barn on fire. They all jumped into the car a drove off. But my aunt remembers looking back and seeing old man brue run out to the barn, just then the dogs leapt out on fire and attacked and killed the man. But when the police arrived they could find no bodies of dogs just the mauled carcass of old man brea. And from that day there have been farmers who have found a couple of thier cows slaughtered with no traces of footprints, just completely burned grass and the smell of burnt hair. but there have been no sightings of the hell hounds again. did you like my story? i don't know if it's true or not. please respond or email me a [email protected]
