Well, anonymous poster, what do you classify as a "femmenazi" ? Yeah, I've had that thrown in my face by the macho, struttin' cowboy, rednecks. If taking up for myself, demanding RESPECT, and refusing to put up with guys rude comments and attitude, is being a "femmenazi", then I guess I am! As for the other poster who said to "Act" like a loser? Just HOW does someone "ACT" like a loser?? I am myself. I will not put on any act for anyone.  |

well when I was single, and this happened, I nicely told them while I batted my eye lashes at them, " If I want to play with mickey mouse I'd go to disneyland. " Then I would laugh as I walked off. Of course many men would always think if they told how much of a "stud" they were that wow you would just latch right on to them, so of course when they would come off with somthing crude like that, I would eyeball them up and down and then say, " Did you bring your microscope and tweezers? " This usually shuts them up. Ya got to remember I was a waitress at a truck stop, I had to be prepared. LOL most times they would get laughing so hard at me, that they left me alone.  |

When I was single I had the same exact problem as you. I can't stand men like that. It was like they just didn't get it, trying to be nice just didn't work for some people. It was like they forced me to get snotty and then yes I was also the word that rhymes with witch LOL! It seems some things don't change. Some guys just really THINK they are Gods gift to women LOL!! why they think that I'll never know it truly is an unsolved mystery. Unfortunately it's a character flaw you will run into often.... Many insecure men who depend on a macho ACT for pseudo self esteem collapse into such frustration and or impotence when faced with/confronted with a healthy, confident, independent woman who can see right through their act as laughable or childish. As the guys faults become harder and harder to hide, the demand for a Put-on image (playboy, jet-setter, big shot, machismo) mounts until the image breaks. At that point, his chances for happiness, and finding a compatible love partner, plunge to near zero. "Faking it" never gets anyone anywhere! |

Unfortunately too many men think with the wrong head when dealing with women. But lets face it, there is a difference betweem men and women regarding sex. Both view it in completely opposite ways and that demonstrates itself in their social relationships. Not defending men here, just pointing to the obvious difference, that being 'attitude'. macho guys are the guys who beat the crap out of me all through school and, no i dont like them i've been the guy that the cap'n of the football teams g/f would come to after he beat her up and, i would listen and, tell her i think she deserves better but ...she would always go back to him anyway ..it was an endless cycle. the definition of a "feninazi" i think is a group of fundimentalist femminst that work in a cult like way in that they totally cut themselves off from so much as speaking to a man,and, dissmissing ALL men to be macho. and, when a member of they're group happens to fall in love with a man they are treated horribally by the other's ...i have nothing against femmism but i disagree with this behaviour because im not some macho,insecure,redneck and, it offends me when someone says i am. you are in no way a so-called "femminazi" you just demand not to get treated badly ..you want respect..there is nothing wrong with that.rock on THE CURSE. |

Hi there J.T. !, Well, There isn't anything wrong with a guy having a little "John Wayne" attitude or swagger about him. You see, I think a guy can be very strong, yet gentle and sensitive at the same time, IN FACT, I like the combination. There is a huge difference in being MACHO-jerk, and being Macho-strong/confident/gentle. If a guy is very thoughtful, and sensitive to my feelings, and shows it, I tend to do just about whatever the heck he wants! Thanks for your thoughts. The Curse, I am sorry you lost your girlfriend.
