Ok for thouse of you who have read my other posts you know that I don't beleave in ghosts...but I have had a few experences that my friends tell me I should post here as ...well ...ghost storys. This one took palce when I was in high school...as most of them do. We..my friends and I used to hang out at the mall in the small town we went to school in. We were not able to drive so we walked from campus to the mall about 2 miles away on fridays, and we had to walk thru a cemitary to get there...well it was a shortcut and we used it regularly. one afternoon early in the year we were walking to the mall and I heard a group of small children laffing like there were a group of 2 or 3 year olds playing near by...I thought nothing of it becouse it was an Augast afternoon and this was a small town of cource little kids would be playing outside on such a fine afternoon. I looked around and I did not see them so I assumed thay were in ont of the back yards nearby. I didn't think anything about it.

On our way back to campus that evening (I went to a boarding school)after the sun had set I heard them again at the same area and I thought that it was weard that little kids would be playing outside at 10 pm, but again I thought this is the midwest small town not New York so people are diffrent here. I commented to my friends about it and they said thay did not hear a thing so I forgot about it.

My 2 friends (Dave and Dan)and I went to the mall every friday night via the same rout and I heard the children playing every time, each time they sounded louder. On the way back one night I looked up and about 25 yards away I saw a group of tiny childern palying in the graveyard alone I kind of freeked me out becouse it was 10 PM and there were no adults in sight...I watched them as we walked past and I commented to my friend, "should we find thouse kids parents?"

They look at me like I was nuts and asked what kids? when I looked back they were gone but I could still hear them just not see them...we contunued back to campus my frends teasing me about hearing things and seeing ghosts...but by then I knew that there was no such things as ghosts (see my post: I dont beleave in ghosts)

I went off campus alone the next day alone to buy a pair of shoes at the mall and walked past the spot and I stoped at the area were the kids were playing the night before and I found a group of tiny graves all childrens graves of unknow parents... died at birth

How it changed my life:

I told my self there was no such thing as ghosts and went and bought my shoes and took the long way back to campus...from then on I always took the long way
