Kitty put her chin up high
To rest it and give out a sigh
I knew she wanted to play something
But not just with a piece of string
What's on your mind; Oh Kitty
What do you want to do?
I know the weather don't look pretty
But I'll take an adventure with you
Kitty posed with a great smile
And ran quick over the kitchen tiles
Fast down the basement stairs
And brought up her journeying wares
So where to today; Oh Kitty
What's in that little mind
The weather will not show pity
It's been raining all the time
But Kitty dug into her pouch
Laid some tools down on the couch
And an oversized umbrella too
I was amazed at what Kitty could do
There's something on your mind; Oh Kitty
I can see it in your eyes
I'll do whatever you think is witty
Regardless of the rainy skies
So Kitty grabbed our coats and goulashes
And buckets for when the rain splashes
And we headed out in the pouring rain
To watch leafboats sail down the street drain
What a silly mind you have; Oh Kitty
But you surely cause me to grin
I'll bet you a nice new penny
That my leafboat will win
