Good evening USM Angels

Hope my posting finds All doing very well… It looks like Summer is once again nearing an end…. Although these past few days have been extremely warm….Nights are beginning to cool down. I heard the song of the Whippoorwill the other night when I was returning home from visiting with my Mama.----While at the gate on the hill, I was whistling for one of my dog’s and when doing that, a whippoorwill started singing (haha)

Queen Anne’s Lace, Ironweed, goldenrods are blooming…Yellow finches have been scarce these past few months, I’m not sure why.. Maybe its that Thistle is plentiful in the woodlands without a doubt…and they and other songbirds have had their choice in the varieties of nuts, berries and seeds….although I do provide food at the feeder..

I’ve been working as usual as well as taking care of business here on the farm, my Big Pups, kittys and the chickens. I’m hoping to find some help here on the farm with daily tasks, within the next week or so and will definitely need help with Winter around the corner. I’ve wanted to invest in a few sheep & goats but we shall see I suppose.

Hoping All have had a great Summer and we see each other here more often as things slow down somewhat. I am looking forward to begin writing again….the Halloween contest and lot’s of things to do here at the Best Place on the net. I’m looking forward to the holidays…….
