I have really enjoyed this series. For all its notoriety and popularity I have been shocked quite frankly at the the way they have treated the end of the series. What popular show could have taken so much time off, then come back with so little for their fans. I think they could have created an empire with ever changing characters to keep this story evolving for years to come.  |

Ginger, I agree. They probably didn't want another looooong running show. I don't know how accurate it is with the books though. I read the first one, and tried to read the 2nd but it's just soooo long winded. I just stuck with the show..  |
