Considering the boundaries of mortality.
there isn't a day that goes by,
that I don't see your face.
Even though you've been gone almost ten years..
my heart always carries you to tomorrow.
I want each moment to count,
but can't figure out how to get past standing where I am.
In debt, and constant doubt,
another day slips out of my fingers,
and the year almost complete.
I refuse to believe these circumstances are permanent,
As I greet the morning sun,
hope is subject to change..
choices form our habits.
And the fire of life stills burns from within.
