Just going through the motions
Each step I take---- each day I make
Is it called progress---Finding my way
These days,
I find myself wondering
Out of this haze of sadness
The sun must be shining behind those clouds
And yet…….
Losing you has got to be the greatest heartache

How I wish I could talk to you
Walk with you as we once did back then
These days,
I want only to go back---if we could start over
Begin again
Life without you hasn’t any meaning
It will never be the same as before
Yet these days---when I take a walk in the evening
There will come a time….I know, I must let go
Yet, loving you as I do……How can I close this door?

Went by the café
Where we used to sit every Thursday
Laughing and talking
Just passing the time away

Now here I am
These days I eat alone
Sitting just watching as people pass by
on their way
Stopping for a while
Holding hands-----stealing a kiss or two
Makes me smile
When remembering
Having so much to give
Living just to see you again

I know I’ll get through this somehow
But for now
As tears slip down my face
I’ll be seeing you every place
I go
These memories are strong
Still I go on
I’ll make it somehow
Can’t live on memories
Still, I’ll be remembering Your love
These days…………..
