I agree. I do think she should have told her "Wait just a minute as I finish this conversation and then I will take you", or politely asked her "Can it wait a minute?." Some people just don't have the necessary skills to raise children. I am glad that you got involved and took her.   |

Just as everyone said in the comments, that your sister would have gotten upset if your niece had an accident... And as Hangman said she could have just said hold on a minute ect ect.. I am so glad you intervened. |
