I don't know anything about your medical issues but please don't give up hope! If all else fails you will always have your family here at USM. I know everything can pile up and feel overwhelming like life is closing in on you. Have you tried EFT/tapping therapy. It always helps me get out all of the bad feelings when I feel like there's no hope. Feel free to message me if you want any more info or if you ever need a friend. <3  |

I feel the same way too. I am 29 and I have never had independence, never even got a chance to learn how to drive due to my abusive family, and my medical situation is awful as well. Furthermore, I forget I have birthdays because no one IRL cares to tell me happy birthday because I am not important to anyone...which hurts a lot. I guess just... take each day a step at a time? I hope you feel better soon. -hugs-  |

I thought the same thing. Health problems..who would want someone like me? I'm a burden. I lose my balance. I walk funny. So I'll just spend the rest of my life alone. Then Robert walked into my life. He turned everything around. He cared for me and that changed my thinking about myself. I had worth. I had value. He doesn't care that I walk funny or lose my balance. He takes me places and I'm for real walking again. He holds my hand and lends me his balance. I'm not even using my cane now. He natches his pace to mine. He's patient. So there is someone for everyone. Birthdays are just numbers. There's someone for you who will understand and accept you for you. Be receptive to the possibility  . Life is beautiful and amazing  |
