In a Station of the Metro - Ezra Pound

I just wanted to share one of my favorite poems. I can't really pinpoint why I feel so attracted to this poem, but there is something about the imagery which captivates my imagination. I thought you might enjoy it!

 

 The apparition of these faces in the crowd;

Petals on a wet, black bough.
