How about an evil scientist who comes up with a disease that kills millions very slowly, and only the evil scientist has the antidote. The scientist unleashes the virus in various countries at different times and blackmails the countries for money.  |

Or how about a tech genius who creates a video game that when played, the person becomes brainwashed under the control of the scientist, without his/her knowledge. Because of the genius' tech skills, the genius figures out where the person lives and has access to all their computer activities, leaving subliminal messages of what the genius wants that person to think or do. Eventually, due to the popularity of the game, the scientist has control of millions of people. Eventually, due to the control the tech genius has, he/she runs for President of the United States and achieves the power to run the United States.

Depends on if you want something funny or more serious.
For humor, I'm more for "The Simpsoms" type of humor. For something more serious, maybe "Man of Steel".  |
