I forgot to mention my father was away that winter of 76 he was in the reserves,stationed overseas back then,there was no stype,facebook,twitter it was the wild,wild west.....
Tom and I had walkie talkies...six million dollar man ones those babies are worth alot on e bay....now we would actually talk back and forth from our bedrooms.....
Christmas eve..came fairly quickley.... my brother jamie was asking all sorts of questions when is Santa coming? how many elves does he have?y
My Mom,me and jamie watched the charlie brown christmas then Jamie took off to our room
My six million dollar man walkie talkie crackled it was tom....he seemed excited....
dude...Something big,crashed into the wild woods!!!! it was red and ..I swear I saw reindeers....
I thought Tom...had had drunken spiked egg nogg
He told me to meet him at the entrance to the wild woods....
I told my mom,I was giving tom his present...and would be back
There was a slight dusting of snow...as I trudged towards the woods
Tom was right there..excited as a kid on Christmas day.....
Look....Tom pointed to a bright red flame or spark....
We both walked deep into the wild woods..as quiet as a hearse....
Then we both gasped
A giant sleigh was on it's side with a bunch of strange deer one with a glowing red nose....
A man in a red suit...with a white beard...addressed us...
Well....Ho...ho...ho...
It's about time.....are you from NpAAA?
AH...i GET IT....Tom laughed
HE THINKS we're from the North pole...AAA...
