Hey...everyone..Jamie here....

Whew...What a Fouth of JULY,I had....it nearly rained..

but it eventually got sunny in the afternoon.

This town is pretty small, but they sure like parades and firecrackers

The town square was full of people watching the parade pass by...

Iris was even in it...waving a flag...and throwing hershey kisses

IT reminded me of Mardi gras...she winked at me...

Charles was organizing his book shelf at home... he said it cleared his head...

He also said firecrackers were not a toy...

What a buzzkill....

MY Mother baked an apple pie for the pie baking contest....she wanted to get into the spirit of small town life..like Aunt Bee

The pie looked good... but it was real HEAVY.... too much crust?.....

A little boy stood next to me he was dressed strange...in an old fashioned boy scout uniform...pretty retro...

He smiled and said he was BOBBY.. and he loved parades...

Later that night,Iris and Charles dropped by... Charles looked cross eyed...

MY MOM handed them sparklers...Charles flinched Lighten up,Charles.....My Mother...laughed

That's the problem..I don't want to light up...Charles...

When I told Iris about the strange boy I met...

Iris and Charles both in unison

OH,Bobby....

He was a boy scout that drowned in a flood in 1955...

HE likes parades......
