I love the 4th of July. Summer is into full swing, and everyone is usually happy. Fireworks are such a thrilling event too. Being so close to a bang that is so loud and bright, but it can't kill you is exhilarating ... LOL I hope everyone does something to have fun today, whether your in America or not. Eat a hot dog with some potato salad and chips. Be thankful that we aren't living in oppression, starvation and under the rule of a harsh dictator. We have a lot in this country to be happy for! |

Date: 7/5/2013 11:53:00 AM From Authorid: 28848 We made burgers inside this year because it rained and stormed most of the day. Then my daughter and I went to see the fireworks in town. We found a pretty good spot and didn't even have to get out of the car and get wet. My son spent the 4th with his girlfriend. |

Hi Zema, 4th of July here is typically the same. Our city has allowed fireworks the last few years since it was previously banned. The poor dogs go crazy and howl, and our poor Misty is so scared she shakes until after 2AM. It is fun for the kids, but I hate watching the poor animals suffer. |
Date: 3/6/2017 10:48:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 42945 Yes Robert like when we celebrate the Queens birthday over here the fireworks drive the poor dogs crazy...so many get out and run the streets looking for a safe haven... |
