So, a few years ago my mom lost her best friend and I lost someone who was like my second mother, Lydia. Since her passing, I have had one dream about her and my mom has had a few here and there. Last night she said she had one after a long while.
In it, my mom and Lydia's daughter, Christina, were going to visit Lydia at her home. It was very windy and when they got to the door, my mom looked down and saw something green on the ground, flapping in the wind. Lydia opened the door, smiling as she always does in dreams, and hugged Christina. My mom finally picked up the green thing and saw it was a $5 bill. She was telling Lydia about it and when she looked again, there was a $20 behind it. She exclaimed, "Wow! I found $25!" and as she did she looked again and there was yet another $20! So she was very excited, and Lydia was smiling the whole time.
My mom says that Lydia is always smiling in the dreams of her, but never speaks. She always looks happy, except for one dream my mom had when in our waking life her widowed husband started dating a new woman (not even a year after Lydia's death). Even then she didn't say anything, she just looked angry according to my mom.
So, Lydia smiled and hugged my mom and then she hugged both of them together and just said, "Everything is going to be okay now." And then my mom woke up.
This morning when she went to work and put on her radio, one of Lydia's favorite songs came on and a few minutes later my mom got a random text from Christina saying "I'm so bored!" It's strangely coincidental how it all came together.
Right now both of our families are struggling very much, especially financially, and my mom has been very depressed and feeling like she will never be happy again because it's causing a lot of stress. I've also been worrying about money because my fiancee is planning to move down here in a couple months, and even though we have a lot saved up I still worry about everything, like him finding a job in a decent amount of time so he can live comfortably and not have to worry about running out of money for rent or anything.
I know dreams aren't usually to be taken literally, but if we did come across some money I know nobody would complain, haha! How it changed my life:It hasn't...yet!
