Well I fell a bit behind on keeping up with this journal thing. So let me give you my update for the week. I am on day 49 of my workouts. Life is going pretty sweet. I am really happy, I have lots of energy, and minus a few bruises I feel great! I should have made this life style change when I quit swimming instead of waiting 5 years. :)
This is how my week went from last Thursday until today:
So, I did 5 mile bike ride in 13 mins 8 seconds on Thursday.
Friday was Crossfit day:
50 jumping jacks 40 mountain climbers 30 wall balls 20 sit ups 10 burpess Strength:
Hang Power Clean 5 x 3 at 53 lbs
MetCon:

10 rounds completed in 20 mins I was hoping to do better but man those pull ups really were tough after the first couple rounds.
Saturday and Sunday I was visiting family so I didn't do much in the means of working out.
Monday I did an at home workout since I didn't get back til 4pm
I did 30 squats with a 18 lb medicine ball
then some curls with a 10 lb dumb bells
Tuesday I did Crossfit:
Warm up
100 jumps
30 kettle bell swings (18 lbs)
Skill/Strength:
3 Rounds NTE
2 Shoulder Roll/Jump Squat Complex (2 rolls + 3 jump squats)
4 Wall Walks
10 Pull Ups (UB) – work on butterfly, kipping or strict
MetCon:

7 Push Press (55 lbs)
7 Pull Ups
Finished 3 sets

Wednesday Crossfit:

Front Squat 5-5-3-3-1-1-1 ... PR of 83 lbs
Turkish get ups time limit 15 mins completed 28 of the 40
83 box jump (up and overs) s in 10 mins then. Stayed to finish the last 17 so i could hit 100 box jumps
And today Planet Fitness
I did my 5 miles in 11 mins and 48 seconds
so I continued on to 10 miles and finished in 24 mins and 14 seconds
I feel pretty good.
Diet is staying fairly consistant. I am making good choices, trying to stick to the healthy snacks, and keeping my portions smaller. So far no big complaints.
All is going well. :) I am generally happy with how things are going.
Tomorrow is day 50 :) I am so excited! I feel myself getting happier, healthier, stronger, and more confident with each passing day. It's all I have hoped for.
