I was out of town visiting family all weekend and I miss it! I can't believe I missed it. I knew it was coming and it came and went unnoticed. What you may ask?
Well as of Feb. 15, I have been on USM for 12 years.
12 years is a long time.
In 12 years I have:
Grew older, and perhaps wiserr: on Feb. 15, 2001 I was 17 years old, I am now 29 years old
Written: 2568 stories on here
Commented: 7479 times
Been lucky enough to recieve: 28 awards
Became an admin
Been Author of the Week on here
Graduated: high school and college (undergrad and grad school)
Been to 1 get together and met many, many USMers through other means
Moved a half dozen times
Gotten married
Taught for a little while
Started my own business
Learned many life lessons after making many mistakes as we all do
Been: happy, sad, hyper, tired, crazy
And I am sure I continue this list for a long time :)
USM has been a great part of my life for the last 12 years and I hope it continues to be a part of my life for a long time. Thank you George and Ginger for making this site for us all. :) I guess as they say, time flies when you are having fun!
