I had a rough week. Lost my spare wedding ring, got a flat tire, hit a pole (no injuries or damage to the car) but the day got better. Today was a Crossfit day and what a day it was! Absolutely awesome work out, not saying that it didn't almost kill me. LoL! I got pushed to the near limits. Loved it!
Workout of the Day:
TABATA 8 Rounds of Rowing (20 seconds on 10 seconds off)
Wall Squats x15
Wall Rack Stretch 2 mins each side
Back Squat 5, 5, 3, 3, 1, 1, 1
Weight: Started out at 53 lbs and maxed out weight at 93 lbs.
Felt great!
MetCon:
4 Rounds
3 Power Cleans (35 lbs)
15 Box Jumps (12 inch box...tried 16 but kept missing)
15 sit ups
OMG It was so hard. Especially the box jumps. They were the worse part. We did it for time. I didn't care about my time, I told coach I just wanted to finish. I wanted to make it through the box jumps and finish strong. I was second to last to finish time: 10 mins 28 seconds. I was very proud of myself. Hopefully next time I can improve.
Diet wise I have been doing fairly well. not perfect I have had slip ups like eating out, but I am a work in progress. :) I have been doing fairly well with the chocolate, 5 pieces of dark chocolate a day (they are small little circle pieces) but I find somedays I don't even want them, which is surprising and impressive to me.
Overall, I am feeling pretty good. I am happy with the progress I am making and looking forward to continuing to do well.
Yesterday i finally did my measurements (waist, thighs, calves, biceps, chest). I know I should have done it Jan. 1 but I kept forgetting to get the measuring tape and finally got one yesterday.
I will not share this cause honestly I am a bit embarrassed but when I reach my progress in a while I will share start and finishing numbers.
Tonight is Open Gym night at Crossfit and I am bringing hubby to show him what it is like. :) Hopefully, he enjoys it.
