Recipe #2

BAKED STUFFED TURKEY

When I found this recipe, I thought it was perfect for people, like me, who just are not sure how to tell when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out. Give this a try.

BAKED STUFFED TURKEY

10-12 lb. Turkey

1 cup melted butter

1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is good.)

1 cup uncooked popcorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHERS LOW FAT)

Salt/pepper to taste

______________________________

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Brush turkey well with melted butter, salt, and pepper.

Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn.

Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven.

Listen for the popping sounds.

When the turkey's butt blows the oven door open and the turkey flies across the room, it is done.

And, you thought I couldn't cook.

Well, we have enough milk stored for me to do the first recipe.

Date: 11/15/2012 7:16:00 AM  From Authorid: 5940    I guess that for recipe #1 be careful not to light a match near the kitchen, and recipe #2 may require some protective gear like, say a football helemet?
Date: 1/1/2013 5:12:00 AM  From Authorid: 21435     Cool recipes, Smokin Joe. The first one sounds like something I may be able to handle. Happy New Year!
