The reason why I put these two shows together is because of same cast memebers.
Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files is a paranormal investigation series produced by Base Productions that began airing July 15, 2010, on SyFy. The show follows a team of investigators, led by former FBI agent Ben Hansen, who review various photographs and viral videos (mainly from the internet) of alleged paranormal activity. If a particular piece of evidence is deemed intriguing enough to warrant further investigation, they set out to recreate and explain the sighting. Beginning episode #207 in first-half of season two, the show began to feature a "You Decide" segment in the middle of the program where a video is shown of something strange and then asks the viewing audience if they think the footage is fact or faked. After a commercial break the truth behind the video is revealed. Skeptical researchers such as Karen Stollznow of the James Randi Educational Foundation (JREF) have criticized the investigating competence of the Fact or Faked team, such as the Civil War cemetery ghost case from episode 6 in particular. The examined footage involves an alleged orb and mist captured on a few frames of video, and when the FoF team unsuccessfully recreate it, they conclude it to be paranormal. Stollznow claimed that by slowing the video down frame-by-frame, something that the FoF team did not do (at least on camera), the orb and mist are supposedly revealed to be a spider on a web.

Haunted Highway, (originally called Paranormal Highway), is a paranormal investigation, reality television series, produced by BASE Productions, that began airing on the Syfy network July 3, 2012. The series features two teams of investigators; Jack Osbourne, (son of musician Ozzy Osbourne), investigator Dana Workman, and Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files investigators Jael de Pardo and Devin Marble. On the 5th episode of the series, Osbourne announced that he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) and temporarily stepped down as host of the series.
The two teams drive across America's highways and back roads, investigating cases of various alleged cryptid sightings. During the intro, Osbourne states that he has had in interest in the paranormal since he was a child and that the show takes a unique investigative approach whereby the teams film their own video footage and do not rely on camera crews. Opening Introductions: “I'm Jack Osbourne and I've been obsessed with the paranormal since I was a kid. I've wanted to investigate some of America's scariest cases. But I decided it had to be done differently. I've put together two teams--myself and my researcher Dana and my friends Jael and Devin. We shot everything ourselves; just us. This is what we discovered and it completely blew my mind.” Premiere episode intro: “Two teams of paranormal investigators out on the road...alone. No camera crew. No backup. Searching for things...that don't want to be found.” Main episode intro: “The following footage was shot entirely by investigators. Two teams of paranormal investigators hunting for the truth behind two terrifying cases...alone. No camera crew. No backup. Searching for things...that don't want to be found.”

From Authorid: 65040Fact or Faked I always liked to watch. Even though the one woman drove me nuts being so skeptic. Haunted Highway I saw very little of. What I did see reminded me very much of Fact or Faked.

From Authorid: 18155saw "haunted Highways" and was really unhappy. There are lots of miles of highways in the US that have a reputation for "haunted locations" along a particular stretch of road. Such as the road on which the actor James Dean was killed at, and later the California Highway Patrol truck taking the crumpled car back to California that somewhere just simply vanished along the highway, Car carrier, the car, and two men inside the truck itself. .Friends of Dean when shown the new sport car Dean had bought, didn't like it, some would not go near it and no one would sit in it. Supposedly as one actor later stated, the car " gave off a feeling of simply being evil". Why a head-on collision, killed Dean, seriously injured his passanger but the other driver walked away, with a few scratches.

From Authorid: 65040I heard about James Dean's death. If I remember right he passed the same year my dad was born. Yes there are lots of highways that are supposedly haunted or have Urban Legends about them.
