forbidden thoughts race through my head
unspoken words perhaps better left unsaid...
was it his smile ...his grin...
the way he laughed ...that made me think
oh so much about him ....
His eyes blue as the sky
blue as the sea's
what was it that captivated me ...
he was forbidden , lust ,
a sin ,as i was also to him..
what was it that held me a prisoner...
a prisoner to this untamed man
no answers i found
none that i could understand ..
how many years have come and gone....
more then a few ...i thought hard and long ...
how many years did i waste....
lost in thoughts of yesterday
everyday since that first day of long ago
it was love then ...and love still
now i know....
once again i remembered
our chance meeting that September...
his arms embraced me, strong
and tight ...how could it be so wrong
when it felt so right ....
it was love at first sight ...
