Bridges and Clocks

The first dream I had started at an underpass. A really high bridge that I would say was several hundred feet up and I suppose I was one of the workers or maybe a foreman there. I was watching the workers, who were on some type of unstable open elevators, chip away at huge blocks of stone that were holding up the bridge and turning these blocks into the image of a man and woman standing side by side or sometimes holding each other. These stone columns were the supports for the bridge and were quite beautiful, it was amazing how they did it. One of the workers was coming down and had another guy on the ground yelling at him and after awhile we were all making fun of this worker. Apparently, he had violated a safety hazard and we let him have it. So, this worker got a drink of water and up he went and the guy that was yelling at him said, "Make sure you remember the cable!" The interesting part of this dream was that when we started work there was a blue sky and big puffy white clouds but near the end of the dream, it was sunset which wasn't with that much time elapsed. The guy that was yelling at the other worker suddenly grabbed me and told me of some supplies that they need so I need to go to the parts store.

Here the dream changed, I was in a auto parts store that looked kind of like the inside of an Autozone with reddish walls and white tiled floors. I was with a friend of mine and for some reason or another, I was obsessing over a clock they had in the shop area. I was determined that I wanted it. My friend kept saying that they'll never sell it to me because it was in the shop area and not for sale. I should get one of the smaller clocks that they had on sale next to me. Those were ugly and square and nothing like the huge round clock that I wanted. I was on the way to get a sales clerk when suddenly, that's when I woke up.

I think it's just a funny dream but it may have some meaning somewhere. The workers looked familiar and I recognized my friend instantly...
