I have to wonder if you have always owned this dresser? Or has it always been in the family?
I ask because if it were owned before, there could have been things stored in it ... like Ouija Boards that might have tainted this dresser with spirits. I'm not entirely sure if I believe in things like this, but I have read too many stories about Ouija boards and possessions of 'things'. The stories make my back shiver ....   |

I know it belonged to my great-grandmother, but I'm not sure where she got it from. It's strange that it just started happening in the past few months. Oh, I know what you mean though, those stories have the same effect on me! |

At first I thought it could have been from ground rumbling a little, but when you said it bothered the dog it made me think something did move the handles. Don't know why it would be happening now after it never did it before. Animals know when something is not right. Redeye, I have a dresser in my diningroom because I keep tablecloths and napkins and table decorations in it....very handy and can also be used as a server/buffet.  |

Yes, it's used as a buffet, but it also stores a lot of our craft supplies: fabrics, beads, ribbon, etc. We hardly use the room as a dining room lol. But yes, Garbage, our dog WILL NOT go into that room. If I'm playing fetch with him and his toy accidentally lands in there, he'll stop right at the entrance and refuses to enter. |

Yes thats a very wierd one. I wonder if you could do some kind of simple cleansing ritual to try and dispel any negative energies? I dont know one I am afraid but maybe someone here does. Thanks for sharing another interesting story  I dont have any strange stories like this but my Mum has loads. I think the strangeness happening gene skipped a generation with me. Phew!  |

Interesting. I have a dresser in my room, it was my mom's so it's old furniture, and it has similar handles. For some reason, the handles always bothered me because I was scared I would hear them hit against the dresser... so your post kinda creeps me out. How long has this been going on? If your getting weird vibes and the dog notices it too, pay close attention to how the dog reacts. I would try and see if it is somehow connected to the dresser or just something looking to get your attention. Interesting post, thanks for sharing,  |

We've had the dresser FOREVER but this has only been going on for a few months. I feel like something is here, though. I've never been afraid to be home alone, but since starting college (fall 2010) I get weird feelings when I am. |
